The Public Kick-Off Meeting was held on August 10th from 5:30 - 7:30pm at the Maryville Municipal Center. The team shared a presentation that provided a project introduction, preliminary analysis findings for land use, the market snapshot, and transportation, and also reviewed the community input received to-date from stakeholder interviews. There were several interactive activities to collect public feedback on the project goals and what types of potential future site elements are appropriate for downtown. The topics of the activities covered residential, mixed-use, storefronts, public spaces, greenspace amenities, streetscapes, and public art.
